Translated in English as "Three Queens", Tres Reynas is the product of the collaborative efforts of three prominent women of two highly respected families in the industry: Janny Garcia (My Father Cigars) and sisters Raquel and Patricia Quesada (Quesada Cigars, distributed by SAG Imports). In addition to their passion for cigars, the cigar line was primarily driven by their bond of friendship. Tres Reynas is a limited release, only 1,000 boxes of each size produced (also available in 5" x 50 Robusto and 6" x 54 Torpedo).

This is a beautiful cigar with a smooth and oily chocolate brown Maduro wrapper with prominent veins. The cigar is adorned with a simple white band with the identical silhouettes of three ladies embossed in gold. Cold draw was easy and produced rather modest tobacco flavor. Once lit, only the slightest draw produced a mouthful of smoke. This medium-bodied smoke starts with a heavily spicy, but rich tobacco flavor; however, the spiciness mellows out rather quickly during the first third. The remainder of the smoke was consistent with an earthiness combined with notes of roasted nuttiness.

Very nice smoke - surprised by its mildness, but very enjoyable.
